Sunday play

The boys have so much fun wrestling with each other but they move so fast, it's really hard to catch them on camera.

Kleenex is definitely off limits but it did keep them still for a minute.

Playing on our bed is one of our favorites. The boys like to fall backwards and especially like climbing on Mike and me.

Here Dad is taking turns throwing the boys onto the bed. You can tell how much Cameron's looking forward to his turn.

Putting on our shoes to go out shopping with Mom.

At the playground

I took the boys to the playground this weekend. We've been before but it was only to swing. Now that they are walking and will tolerate shoes, I thought they'd like to check out the playground.

They were fascinated by the sand. The playground itself they didn't even notice!

Connor was doing this funny thing with his tongue all weekend. Is that a teething thing?

Silly boys!

Heading over to the swings...

No, Connor is not screaming in this picture. This is actually his normal look. Nana calls them the O boys for 1) our last name or 2) this typical expression of Connor's.

14 month update

The boys are getting to be so much fun. Here's an update on their newest discoveries and tricks.

BOTH BOYS
* Are still great eaters. They will eat anything you feed them although they are beginning to prefer "table food." Both will sign "more" when they want more food or are hungry in general.
* They've had Mexican (soft tacos) and chicken "table food" now. Both were big hits.
* Adore each other. When they are sitting together, they will reach out to each other. When they are going to bed, their faces light up when I hold one close to the other. Cameron will only give kisses to Connor. Connor also gives Cameron kisses but still sometimes kisses me or Mike. They are so sweet to each other, unless of course, Connor is interrupting Cameron's story time or takes away a toy or object of interest.

CAMERON
* Has really been working on his verbal skills. He is the proud master of "ball" and "dog" which he says very often whether the object is around or not. He also says "Daddy," "more," and "ah oh" and tries to say "book."
* Still only has 8 teeth.
* Still LOVES to be read to and gets really upset when Connor interrupts.

CONNOR
* Is a full-time walker now. No more crawling for him although he still falls down frequently.
* Has increased his verbal skills significantly. He definitely says "dada" and I think he's said "mama" for me (may be my wishful thinking though). He randomly verbalizes with "ba," "da," "ma," "ah," and something that sounds like "mwa." He definitely understands way more than he can communicate. The only sign he knows is more thanks to Cameron but I can ask him to do many things and he does them.
* Has 6 teeth now.

Mike and I are completely smitten with them. We think they must be the cutest kids ever. We love watching their little personalities form and imitate them to each other. They are the best!
