A morning flight

Mike and I had an opportunity to go for a plane ride with one of Mike's friends from school, Ken, and his wife, Dori.

Here we are in front of their plane, a Piper Cherokee

Getting ready to take off

Playing around

Mike got to do the flying for a while!

Some scenic views from the back seat

It was really a neat experience although turbulence in a very little plane is quite a bit more disturbing than on a commercial aircraft!

Cool pics by Daddy

These were just some great shots taken by Mike:

Meeting at MOSI

Today we met Bill, Jenna and Spencer at MOSI. This was such a neat meeting for us. It was actually a reunion of sorts - Cameron, Connor and Spencer were all at the Vung Tau orphanage in Vietnam together. Bill and Jenna gave Mike and I one of the best Christmas presents we've ever received - pictures of our boys while we waited for travel. These were among their gifts:

Connor sleeping

Cameron just being his cute little self

Here are pictures of the boys' first meeting.

Spencer is such a happy little guy!

Dad showing Connor the smoke tornado

Mom showing Cameron the water cyclone

Dad took Cameron into the hurricane simulator. Both thought it was pretty fun.

We had such a good time with them and can't wait until we meet up again!

Dinner with friends

Jay, Dorothy, Brady and Molly joined us Saturday night for dinner and to play.

Legos were a lot of fun

Dinner was yummy. Molly was feeling very generous and was even sharing with her mommy.

Dessert?

Molly missed out on the pool earlier in the day and thought it was a perfect time for a little dip.

Brady playing after dinner

Good night!

BTW - I don't hold the boys like this almost ever. It was done just for the picture. My back won't allow it otherwise.

Finally - a "real" pool

This weekend Nana brought over a "real" pool. The boys were in agreement - this is WAY more fun than the bucket!

Cameron promptly learned how to climb in and out.

Then he decided he could move it.

Cameron loved the water. He was even excited when he fell and got his face wet. After he fell in one time, he got on his hands and knees to try and drink the water like a dog. He's a riot!

It was even more fun when Dad was splashing!
